This work given is in full acknowledgement of GOD and directed by Holy Spirit. Any and all use of the facts of the dark side are not an avenue meant to give any credit to them. In fact, all work is directly attributed to GODs Plan and to give HIM all the glory. Amen

There’s no doubt we live in a time which has been prophesied for thousands of years. Oh, but not in a good way…but is it?
You see with the falling away comes a great awakening too. And I’m surely not talking about the New Age movements ‘enlightenment’.
Matthew 7:13 (KJV)
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Matthew 5: (KJV)
1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

These two Scriptures are very important. It’s speaks of a miracle, in fact.
With the stand taken as a disciple, we are told to do what? Act as Jesus did! What was so specific that ties to these end days that if not said could lose a man his soul?
Jesus did two things; He made promises; He gave warnings
So many churches in these modern times we live in only speak of the promises but this is carrying the car before the horse, so to speak. For if the preacher/teacher does not speak of the reality of this situation he only only fooling himself and his congregation.
Christianity has become only about a gate, what happen to the gatekeeper? Pastors will stand at the pulpit and tell you that once you ‘walk down the isle’ that this is enough…but it’s more that the walk down the isle. Just asking Jesus Christ into your heart is only the first step. Herein lies the gate prophecy. The only way a man can walk through the gate is because GOD has to have made a supernatural change/work in his life.
2 Corinthians 5: (KJV)
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The conversion (Holy Spirit) with man reveals a manifestation which is equal to Genesis 1, and John 1-the beginning of anew. This places you in quite-the predicament. Because if you truly show the signs of a changed person, the you must conform to the Word, not the world.
Everything outside of Jesus Christ is absurd, a fraud and worthless. Their is only One Mediator.

bg3
This new walk must show signs and changes in the heart, mind and soul.
But the gate is narrow and the way broad that leads to life because most people who have claimed to have passed through the gate, most walk in the broad way.
Matthew 7:13; these verses are not about works per say, but about a supernatural disposition in the Believer. Capitol “B” because he’s a new creature. A child of GOD.
Why the ‘narrow way’? GOD has given us the Word. This is a gift to mankind which is not to be taken lightly. And in it the promise that the Holy Spirit dwells with us. And the Only Way to GOD, the Father is through Jesus Christ. This is sufficient.

widegate

There is a communion with GOD like no other. There is no match! One you’ve become a new creature through Jesus Christ, then and only then are we allowed to come to the Father and this communion is a supernatural one. A path of Light.
And when we awaken to The Word and The Light then we are to awaken others.
Part of this message is the Hope! The promise is about Jesus Christ but He also warns us. We are to discern the state of our faith/heart. But don’t be confused you must not let the heart guide you, you must guide the heart into submission. For if you do not even your heart can lead you astray.
The warnings are of a world where there’s people who do not walk the walk, oh yes…they talk the talk but this is a completely different path.

Many think the end of this series of verses:
Matthew 7: (KJV)
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
They believe it’s about the people who call themselves atheists or agnostics. But it’s NOT! The context speaks of the people who think they do GOD’s work.
Need proof?

Listen to Jesus’ words:
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?”
He’s telling us that those who THINK they are doing right by Him are not!
Why is that? Because walk in the path of least resistance. They walk in the world, by the world, for the world. They have their IPHONES which they use to scan Facebook, dress in their GAP jeans, and drive their fancy cars to their modern homes. But, do they carry the Bible. Do they speak of Jesus Christ at their jobs? Do they spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
Conformity to the Word, NOT to the world!

Warnings: Preachers who say their is no more sin, preachers who tell you that once saved always saved…then these are men with no HOLY SPIRIT within. Or men that tell you that you don’t need Jesus Christ to come to The Father.
Your theology means nothing unless it changes the way you teach others to come to Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is the only Way. He is the path.

Jesus Christ is the only way to Salvation, he is the only path…if you deny that path, then you’re denying Christ.

And Jesus Christ promise it would be easy? NO! He warns us it will be hard.

Hard_Times_Screenshot_1080_014

If you’re a Believer, and life meets no resistance from the world, from the flesh, from the Devil…then you know your on the broad path.
Is your life fraught with battles, fighting and conquering? Then, you know you’re on the right path.
This is a battle. We are the foot soldiers. It’s a battle with certain times of peace but by and large it’s a battle being waged daily with the enemy at your heels.
Jesus Christ warns His followers that they will be persecuted because they are not of the world, but have been chosen out of the world, and therefore the world hates them just as it has hated Jesus Christ (John 15:18-21). This is precisely why Jesus Christ exhorts His would-be followers to first count the cost. For anyone who is unprepared or unwilling to bear a cross and follow Jesus Christ, simply cannot be His disciple (Luke 14:25-33).

Then with this battle how can Jesus Christ say?
“For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Jesus Christ will help. He will carry you. He is our Savior. He is everything we need in this wicked, wicked world.
I leave you with this…
Jesus Christ said many who think they are doing the right thing are in fact deceived. Are you? EXAMINE YOURSELF. TEST YOURSELF.

One of the prophecies for these last days is about the church. This prophecy basically says that churches and prayer houses will have less and less people within them, and it become more about profit than the people’s Salvation.
What did Jesus Christ do in His days when the Temple became full with “Market Place” people? What upset Jesus Christ about the powers that controlled the world then, and how does it compare to our worldly affairs?
John 2:15 KJV
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;

GodAndMoney

Jesus Christ literally made cord/scourge/whip from twisted rushes of odder or litter of the cattle to drive them out…do you know what that is? FECES! Yes, He was using poop! What an instrument!! Is this a metaphor for the people He was using it on? I think EVERY word put into the Bible serves a purpose!
The “scourge,” as Godet says, is a symbol, not an instrument. It was in Jesus Christ’s hands a conspicuous method of expressing his indignation, and augmenting the force of his command, by an indication that he meant to be obeyed there and then.
He threw out the money collected in bins, and overturned the tables from which they were working. So, He then told the caregivers of the doves:
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.

Starbucks-Marina-Sq

Minds filled with cares about worldly business when at a House of GOD? Hmmm…sounds familiar in today’s realm.
What really upset Jesus Christ was the structures or powers that divide, dominate, exclude, or disparage any creature of GOD.
These animals were required for sacrifice, and there were economic implications because poor people couldn’t afford to buy the best animals. Jesus Christ, overturning the tables, illustrated his belief that the wisdom of GOD is not the wisdom of the dominating structures of organized religion, particularly when institutionalized religion gets in bed with the empire. So Jesus Christ turned over the temple tables as a political act and more. At its depth it was a spiritual and theological act. It was an example of how GOD’s wisdom is foolish to the wisdom of the world.
Christianity is used politically to support the nation as in killing people whether through wars. So He was not only disrupting the temple but disrupting the way things were.

RISE OF MEGACHURCHES
I guess the term, “Big is Beautiful” could apply here but the to imply or to criticize a church for being big is to imply disbelief in Jesus Christ’s commission. But originally the tone was set on the mountain when Jesus Christ gave His sermons, right? It was to be centered around Jesus Christ, and the Word of GOD.

maxresdefault

But today, that’s not the emphasis, is it? The grandiose social complexes have other distinctive trademarks such as aerobics studio, banquet halls, arcades with XBOX etc.., computer centers, gymnasiums, and McDonald’s along with a STARBUCKS! That’s right get your coffee and GOD buzz on, right?

mammon

But what’s wrong with this? Why can’t a church, in this fast-paced world, tailor themselves around the congregations needs? A more, “User Friendly” environnment!

Cultural Vs. Spiritual
What does your clothing look like? Do you have the stylish trend? The coolest style of glasses? How about your hair, is it cut in the new wave? Do you look sexy?
How about your spiritual characteristics? Do you live for GOD? Do you serve GOD on a daily basis?

message
Christianity today is tainted. You feel like you must wear the newest style of hats, and drive the coolest cars, and how about your home? Does it keep up with Jane & Jack next door?
Who do you compare yourself to? Is it Jesus Christ, or the world?

upsidedown

Is your church spiritually dead? Are you spiritually dead?
Seems to me the modern churches are here to entertain, not teach. I had a very good friend tell me recently that she changed churches to get a new vibe because her old one was not keeping up. So, he and the family found a new one. They’ve been going a few weeks and she informs me that she feels like there is two levels, one for the children and one for the immature Christian. But, she feels left out. She feels all the messages are everything she already knows. Things she’s already learned.
In one sense, this is a GOOD thing! She’s only in her early 30’s and she’s above the Christian crowd, so to speak. Then again, this is very bad because you tend to get a sense that the church is not giving anything to the people.

upside-down

Cookies & Milk /Meat & Potatoes
Let’s get right down to the issue at hand! Is your church doing right by you? Is it living according to the world, or GOD? Is your church serving two masters?
What kind of service are you getting? Is it Cocktails and Cookies or Meat and potatoes?
What kind of service does your church lead? Are you learning anything? Do you feel led to inspire others after the service is over? Or do you leave and go back out to the world and continue to live in the flesh?

Two Masters

TWO MASTERS
Can you hold onto one, yet despise the other? No! Why? Because our flesh loves self-deception. We can’t despair when we recognize the self-centered nature of our actions. No. Satan uses despair to trap us, wanting us to feel hopeless so that we don’t trust in GOD. So, it’s a vicious circle.
People fool themselves all the time; with their mouths they claim to live for GOD, yet their lives are a product of their heart.
Seriously folks! It’s time to wake up. Is your church spiritually awake? Or does it feed to cookies and milk?
Is the door open to serve the Pastor’s pocket? What does your Pastor drive? Where does he lay his head at night?

Glenbow-Museum-Canada-1

You’re not judging one another by looking into this matter? You’re aligning yourself toward GOD. We are meant to constantly look up not down at this material world we live in.
You cannot take that pearl necklace to heaven. But you sure can take that muscle car to hell. You see, Satan will allow you to think you can have it all. You can live two separate lives and no one will know the better.
Satan wants you to think that it’s okay to drink of Saturday and go to Church on Sunday.

upside
BUT YOU CAN’T continue to live this way. Riding the fence…you’re eventually going to fall off. Lukewarm congregations are the norm!
TEST YOUR CHURCH. MAKE A STAND! MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

PROSPERITY MOVEMENT
That’s not all…I’ve been led to talk about something else too!
You know…we all have to make a living! We have to survive, but at what cost? I see so many people who profess with their mouths about their works to GOD, yet they turn around and all they do is SELL SELL SELL!
The “prosperity teaching” later figured prominently in the Word of Faith movement and 1980s televangelism. In the 1990s and 2000s, it was adopted by influential leaders in the Charismatic Movement and promoted by Christian missionaries throughout the world, sometimes leading to the establishment of mega-churches. Prominent leaders in the development of prosperity theology include E. W. Kenyon, Oral Roberts, A. A. Allen, Robert Tilton, T. L. Osborn, Joel Osteen, Creflo Dollar, and Kenneth Hagin.

God and money

They maintain that Christians have been given power over creation because they are made in the image of God and teach that positive confession allows Christians to exercise dominion over their souls and material objects around them.
How can we tell if we’re one of these kinds of teachers? Or involved with one, or a member of their congregation?
I feel like the sermon should be the objective, not what comes after! Immediately after the sermon, does your preacher announce how to give money to them? Or how to buy their products? Has it come down to “name it and claim it? or “blab it and grab it”?
“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth … But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven”

series_upside-down-living_base_1_3

Do you have enough to get by, or do you live abundantly while your neighbor is starving? The whole world lives for themselves, while the person next to them is wondering how to get their next meal.
How much do you give? Do you use part of your income to help someone in need? Do you give whenever possible? Do you spend part of your day trying to “pay it forward”?
How do you justify what you have, against what everyone else does? Well, I work hard for what I got! Is that it? But, do you think about that man who stands on the corner trying to get work while you drive to the nearest McDonald’s to get junk food for a snack? How do you justify your actions to GOD? Or do you try?

Push and Pull

There are definitely stages in one’s life where you feel like you’re on top of the world. Things just couldn’t be any better…you have loved ones and people who show they appreciate you and then they leave.
Where are you now? Now, that they’ve all pulled away? You feel so alone. You feel so abandoned. You just want to throw the towel in and say, “I’m done!”
Your married but it’s just a relationship where you go through the motions. You have children but they don’t call, or come by to see you. You have friends but they are busy with their lives and you rarely ever see them.
You just feel so alone.
But, you’re not!
Being alone is a state of mind, isn’t it? We are surrounded by hundreds, and thousands of people every day. Yet, we search for the connection. They push you away. There’s a void…a deep abyss of nothing. It would be easy to just give up wouldn’t it? Like so many other people have done…just give up.
But, you can’t!
This is the time in your life where you pull Jesus Christ closer. Closer than ever before. He’s always there, even though you can’t see Him. He’s your best friend in a time of need. He’s your partner in this life of emptiness…He will fill your heart. He’s your family when you have no other.
HE’S THERE.
CALL on HIM.
Pull Him Closer! Say: “Jesus Christ, I feel so alone, and empty. I feel like there’s no one I can reach out to. I feel like no one really cares. ”
He will tell you, “My child, you have Me. You always have. I’ve been here all along but you didn’t see Me. I’ve been beside you through all the hard times, through all the bad things that happened to you. I’ve been here when those people rejected you. I’ve been here when you’re family treated you like a stranger. I’ve been here when you thought you were alone.”
CALL ON JESUS CHRIST.
Reach out in this time of need. He will answer your call. He gives unconditional love where no one else ever has or will. He will fill the void. He can be your everything…if you let Him. But you must ask.
Go ahead, do it. Take the risk. What do you have to lose if you feel so abandoned and alone? You have everything to gain.
Jesus Christ is everything we will ever need and more.
So, push away the world and pull Jesus Christ closer.
